As you know we have had a lot of fires in our area this week. So Tanner and I have been to the Mall several times this week. There is a play area, AC, and the air is clean. Well T got a new hat that I think is so cute. When we got home that night we had a photo shoot. First, he sat on the coach, then he played peek-a-boo under the coffee table.
Next weekend we are going to Boise to see Kelle and Aaron. I hear it's pretty cold so the hat will really come in handy.
You can tell it has been a slow week. But I wanted everyone to see how cute our little man is.

A TRIP TO THE FIREHOUSE
Well last week was fire prevention week! Kipp and I took TanMan to our local Fire House. He met a real Fireman, wore a helmet, and sat in a Fire Truck. We told Tanner that he can be whatever he wants to be when he grows up. Maybe he will be a Firefighter! We all had a great day and I think we will make it a yearly event.

Fall is Here!
Who says we don't have seasons in So. Cal. Today we woke up and it had rained a good 1/8 of an inch. It rained so much that Tanner had to wear his windbreaker. Well, we have been so busy with Tanner's first fall. Last night we braved the crowds and took T-Money to D-Land in his Brown Bear costume. What's funny is that 60,000 people also had the same idea of going to Disneyland. It was pretty hectic, we only went on one ride (Buzz Lightyear) and then headed home.
We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa Howerton, Jafta and India. We rode on a train, which barely held us, and looked at all of the animals. We all watched Jafta ride on a pony! You may remember last year when I put Jafta on a horse and he about tore my shirt off trying to get off. What a difference a year makes.
Finally here he is with daddy, momma, and baby pumpkins in front of our house. It turns out that Tanner loves fall just as much as his silly mom! Hope all of you are having wonderful season too!

The Lyons Men
Tanner/Daddy/Grandpa Lyons/Great Grandpa Lyons
We had a very busy weekend up in San Jose. Kipp's 85 year old Grandpa got married on Saturday and we were able to be there. It was a beautiful wedding weekend and we love Grandpa's wife Maggie. Tanner was able to meet his Great Grandpa,Uncle Aaron as well as many other family members. Tanner was passed around all weekend and loved it. He was only bummed when we put him down at night. He ended up sleeping in our bed all night. Now we are back home and things are back to normal. Tanner was a trooper but I think he liked having a normal day today.
