Snack Time

My kids love snacks. I love when we get to eat together.
I can't put into words how much I love these kids. I feel like Kipp and I have sacrificed a lot for me to be able to work part time and spend so much time with our kids. I don't think there is any dollar amount that could replace these memories that I get to make. I love that I am the one who gets them out of bed's in the morning, who gives them their snack, reads them stories, or takes them to the park.
Like every mom, I am always making food or cleaning it up, or doing laundry. When I do these things I feel grateful that I get to care for my kids in this way. Grateful that they need me. I feel like by serving them, I am loving them.
Tanner is such a great big brother. Man he loves his sister so much. Just this morning we were walking downstairs to have breakfast and Peyton had stopped to take a break. When Tanner got downstairs he started yelling, "Peyton's alone, Peyton's alone. Don't worry sweetie we are coming." He cares for her so deeply. I hope he is always so protective.
Peyton wants to be just like Tanner. If he gets a juice box than she has to have one. Even when they are in the car together they are making each other laugh.
