Christmas is coming.

I know that it is September but I am so excited about Christmas. Yes, it' s4 months away but I can't help it. It started about a week ago when I taught Tanner how to say ho, ho, ho, like Santa. He thinks it's so funny. A few days later he was sad and I started to sing Christmas songs and it made him feel better. I think Tanner loves Christmas as much as I do.

Last year after Christmas I bought some soft decorations that Tanner can help us put on the tree. We used to have 2 crazy cats who loved knocking down the tree. Last year we didn't put a tree up because Tanner was too little. I am so excited for him to help us decorate the tree this year.
So happy end of summer, happy fall... and then Christmas!!!

I love Christmas too. And to keep Christ in Christmas, we only get our kids 3 presents. It was all baby Jesus got and all our kids get from us, therefore they have to ask/choose very wisely (no pun intended - get it Wise Men, tee hee) what 3 presents they ask for. Because the season is of course about celebrating Christ and his birth!! Now, I do tend to go a little crazy on the kids own birthdays !!

I LOVE fall and Christmas! The boys asked to listen to their Veggie Tales Christmas CD in the car the other day and I was only too happy to oblige! Happy end of summer, indeed! Bring on the Fall/Winter!

I am with you! I've already done a lot of Christmas shopping, and can't wait to decorate. But I love fall too. Like Sarah, we have 50 pumpkin candles out already.

Tanner will have so much fun this year! It gets even better as they get older!

You're killing me!! It's not even Halloween--or Thanksgiving--our two other favorite holidays!! I can't begin to think of Christmas!! Fall stuff comes out this weekend!! Would have brought it out last weekend, but we were in Oklahoma for a family reunion! By the way, I love the idea of three gifts--very wise!! Thanks Lisa. The Howertons may adopt that--especially as the family continues to grow!! Love those grandchildren!!
